When received tech pack/ drawing / sampling request from customers, sampling team start processing to make the samples.
Guideline
Creating a Pattern
The pattern maker creates a paper pattern based on the tech pack/ drawing/ reference images. The pattern maker will flag up if anything unclear or not achievable. I will come back to you/ clients/ designers to fact check before proceeding.
Prepare Fabric and Accessories
As soon as we get the sample request, will order the fabric/trims directly based on the details you provide if you have selected the specific fabric/trims. If not, we will source some options for your selection.
Cut the Fabric
Once fabric arrived, will cuts the fabric according to the pattern.
Sew the Sample
Once fabric and trims are all ready, the sample maker sews the sample.
Add Trims and Embellishments
When the sample is finished sewing, will add trims/embellishments on. For example, make button holes for the shirts. Or some buttons/ beads only could be hand sewn.
Pressing and Quality Check
The sample will go through final pressing. And we will check the sample against the tech pack/ notes to make sure everything is followed and applied, quality check as well.
Take Pictures
The sample will be put on the mannequin and took pictures. And then send sample pictures to client to check. We can do some minor amendment if needed. But we prefer our clients to check the samples in person before any adjustment.
Send the Sample to You
All good, then send you the sample to check in person.
