Guideline

Get In Touch

If you are looking to start your private label clothing line and looking for suppliers to custom made garments, start by email/ wechat me.

Please send me some reference images you’d like to create. I will have an idea what type of garment you need and see if I can help you develop. I can also give you an idea how many units you need to order in bulk production. Usually, the more complex designs, the higher minimum order quantity in bulk.

For the reference images, it doesn’t need to be very specific. For example, you can just send me screenshots to show that you want the top part like this image, the skirt part like that image.

Or if you have tech packs, that’s great and just send them across.

Based on all this informations, I can give you a roughly costing in 1-2 days.

Sampling

To get an exact quote, I need to make the sample. I will proceed to make pattern after you pay for the sampling invoice. It would take around 5-7 working days to get the sample ready. If it is a complex styles, such as embroidery, printing or developing trims ect, it would take longer time.

Before I send you the sample, I will help check everything to see if it has been followed correctly.

After you receive the sample, please send me fit comments and see if any change you’d like to make. And discuss prices.

When making samples, we also consider if any potential issues that may arise during bulk production to reduce time waste and money loss.

Fabric:

Fabric plays a key role in clothing production. We take into account three main factors: stability, processing techniques, and cost. During the sampling, we will check if the selected fabric is a good fit. For example, we will consider if the fabric would shrink or retain its color during washing; if the fabric is suitable to be used for the designs; if it is too expensive.

Processing Techniques

While developing the samples, we check all processing techniques to ensure that they are reasonable and will not affect the efficiency of bulk production or cause delay. If any irrational, we will flag up at this stage and discuss for a solution before production.

Cost Control

During the sampling stage, we estimate the cost based on the fabric and trims consumption, as well as the cost of each manufacturing process. Any budget overruns can be promptly adjusted to your price range.

Bulk Production

MOQ is 50 units per style per color. We can do in different sizes across XS/ S/ M/L…

Bulk production start when you’ve paid for the deposit which is 30% of the total order amount. It will take around 3-8 weeks for the production. After then final inspection is finished and we pack all items into boxes, we will send through invoice for the remaining 70% payment.

Once you settle the remaining payment, the goods can arrange to go anytime. There are different shipping methods to choose from. It depends on how quickly you need the goods and how much you want to spend on it. We can get some shipping quotes for your reference. Or you can find your freight forwarder yourself.

Frequent Asked Questions

What's your MOQ?

Normally, I can do 50 units per style per color. And it can split into different size (S/ M/L), but no more than 5 sizes. Sometimes, it may need to increase the quantity a little bit to get a good price for the fabric, or due to the complexity of the designs.

Why it could get a good price for the fabric?

The fabric suppliers prefect to sell the fabric by roll. If you don’t need a whole roll fabric, then the supplier will charge you extra cost, which is called cutting fee. That’s because when the supplier sell you the total meters you need, there will be some leftover from a roll of fabric, which cannot be sold for quite a long term or never.

For instance, if you do 50 units of a dress, it needs around 100 meters of fabric. While a roll of fabric may be 110 meters in total. In this case, I would suggest you to do up to 55 units, so that we can take a whole roll of fabric and no surcharge for the fabric.

How much will this cost?

There’s still many work to do before we could give a quote.

Costing depends on:

what fabric to use, (fabric cost/ simple or difficult fabric to deal with);

complexity of the designs; (printing/ embroidery);

total quantity;

packaging requirement, etc.

If you already have a tech pack with all details included, especially with fabric, it would be much faster to give an estimated price for your reference.

But before I can have an accurate price, it will need to make out of the specific sample.

How’s the quality?

Yes, it is made in China, but it is not equal to cheap quality. Made in China is relatively at lower cost. There are many reason for that. And I would like to outline two of the reasons. One is labor cost which has played a central role in labor intensive industry just like clothing line. The other is technologies speed up the manufacture process helping to make it more efficient.

I value our clients’ brand reputation. I hope that one of the reasons that customers keep returning to purchase from your brand will be because of the good quality.

Quality is one of the important factor to keep growing your brands and our business as well. I say no to cheap price and cheap quality. And you will get what you pay for.

QC process

Quality check is processed during the whole production, right from the initial stage of sourcing raw materials to the stage of final finished garment.

It separates into 3 stages:

Initial check

At this stage, it mainly pay attention to the bulk fabric.

Before fabric is cut, will check the fabric quality, color, faults…, ect.

Inline quality check

During the sewing procedure, will check the sizing and sewing.

Workers will check if any sewing defects. If there’s open seams, wrong stitching techniques used, wrong color threads used, creasing, wrong thread tension and raw edges, etc.

Final inspection

When the sewing is finished, will do the final inspection. It consists of pressing, trimming, measurement control, labelling, and packaging, like trimming off extra thread, checking the measurement against spec sheet, checking the stitching and finishing, firm checking if the labels are attached correctly as requirement.

Third party inspection company

Some clients would like to arrange inspection company to check the items before shipment. This is welcomed, but the cost should be taken by clients/ you.
